I lost touch with books for about a decade because of life but thankfully I am able to return to this beautiful world. Eclectic mix from YA to erotica. I blame fanfic.
I enjoyed reading this book but I think that's because of my background. I love B-movies. This is the kind of story I read when I've seen too much of the world's cold side and I want to indulge in that misery but only if I can see some light at the end of it. The dynamic between Cass and Tucker is what kept me invested and Teresa Mummert develops their relationship well. It's what I like to call candyfloss romance. Too whimsical to be true, and nothing you could ever live on permanently, but sometimes you just need to tickle your sweet-tooth and give in to that warm, sticky, sugary mess because it makes your soul purr. Wonderful!
