I lost touch with books for about a decade because of life but thankfully I am able to return to this beautiful world. Eclectic mix from YA to erotica. I blame fanfic.
Marketed as the Da Vinci Code for YA, I picked this up because I really didn't feel like reading the actual Da Vinci code. Never has a silly reason ended up being so fruitful. I read this almost as quickly as its pace - though that would be impossible - it felt like those wonderful adventures I used to conjure up in my head, set in distant lands, full of mystery, wit and of course a good dollop of romance. Nora is wonderful, just the right amount of naivety and intellect. The fact that she turned to 'studying Latin' to deal with grief is endearing.
However the impressive thing about this book was Wasserman's mastery over revealing a good mystery. The tension almost killed me but luckily I'm a fast reader. If thrillers are your thing then I would recommend this book to you, you won't be disappointed. (hopefully)
